This is a special award for a person who has a disability and performs like a superstar at the Rockin' Our Abilities sessions in the South Burnett. Introduced 2024.

To enable a South Burnett high-school student from years 7-10 to continue with their musical journey when their financial situation may prevent them from reaching their musical potential. This bursary consists of $2000 to be put towards a new instrument and possibly private lessons. Introduced 2025.

This award is given to students who:

• Display significant musical talent either in music class or a school band

• Are highly enthusiastic about continuing their musical career

• Demonstrate respect and tolerance towards school staff and fellow peers, as well as respect towards equipment

• Consistently behave and show effort in their classes

• Would require financial assistance to purchase a new instrument to continue their musical studies
